| Hello! I am Andrea with Diet by Andrea. I received my Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Food Science from Hunter College in New York City. I also have a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from Queens College and have been a certified Group Fitness Instructor with the American Council on Exercise for over 10 years. I hold certifications in Kickboxing, Spinning, and Yogafit. I have worked with the Discovery Channel’s National Body Challenge, the American Heart Association and have lectured at various corporations and hospitals in New York and Connecticut. |

| What does this mean for you? |

| This means that I have the experience and confidence to provide you with the information you need for your nutrition goals. I worked as a clinical dietitian to fully understand what happens to our bodies with the foods we eat, the conditions we may have and the medications we take to treat these conditions. |

| How can I relate my advice to your needs? |
| |
| I have been on and off the fad diet train myself. I have done the Cabbage Soup diet until I was too shaky to go finish my fitness walk. I have gone high carb, low carb, and low fat until I took a bite of a Big Mac after not eating it for a year and then just starting eating foods I usually did not even crave because I told myself, I would "restart my diet Monday". Basically, I’ve been there, done that. |

| After years off this, I vowed to not get on this express diet train to nowhere again. I knew I had to take how I was used to eating from my learned behaviors throughout my life and just start to make some gradual changes. I also understand this is easier said than done. I can be realistic about your nutrition needs and provide you with techniques that you may not have time to think about, yet can easily fit into your schedule. |

| What makes me different? |

| What also makes me different is that I am willing to show you that I am the same as most clients. I love a good cosmopolitan or wine and dinner with friends and family. I have a busy schedule, sometimes not enough time to cook. |
| I have been able to figure out ways to keep myself on track with my techniques. I want to share this information with you because I have seen fad diets come and go and come back again. Yet, weight gain is on the rise. Now have to worry about pre-diabetes in America! It is because a realistic voice needs to be heard. |
