| Why Nutrition Coaching? |
| |
| “When you put a price on your health, you may just find out how priceless it actually is” |
| |
| From conversations with clients, I understand why people are hesitant to get nutrition coaching. We believe we can just learn about nutrition from magazines or books or the internet. Maybe so, but it is difficult to decipher all of the information and misinformation that it out there. |
| |
|
| |
| I look at it like this… |
| |
| It is the same reason I go to an accountant instead of doing my taxes myself. I could use a program, but there may be something I am overlooking, or I may not have the time to figure out every little detail needed due to other factors in my life. Plus, I want to know how I can avoid mistakes or better my situation year after year. Nutrition coaching teaches you how to budget your calories or manage your food wisely, so you still enjoy the foods you like and get the results you want in the long-term. |
| |
| Nutrition coaching is more than giving advice on healthy foods. Coaching takes into account the other complexities, such as work, family and other time constraints that influence what you eat. It also educates and provides you with the support needed for contingency plans to decrease setbacks. |
|
 |
|
| |
| I treat nutrition coaching as a science and an art. It is understanding scientifically what you need to reach your goals and presenting the information in fun ways with a positive energy. To see what nutrition coaching has done for my clients, go to the testimonials section of my website. |
